General information
The Museum store is a modest one, located at the front information desk, near the museum entry. The store is a primary outlet for village craftsmen and women. Perhaps the best known craft from this community is the widely renowned “Anaktuvuk Pass Caribou Skin Mask.” We also, from time to time, carry other traditional craft items such as caribou skin boots or mittens, Eskimo yo-yo’s and beadwork, when they are available.
We also carry a range of souvenir clothing such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, sweatpants jackets and hats.
Soon to be available for purchase will be a number of interesting and detailed museum publications pertaining to, and elaborating upon many of the exhibits, displays and artifacts in our collections.
For those people interested in learning more about our community and our history, we have reprinted a number highly informative and easy to read pamphlet sized articles and publications. Among those currently available are:
