Public Information Officer
The Public Information Officer handles all communication and public information tasks for the North Slope Borough Mayor’s Office and supports other departments when needed. This role acts as a key link, connecting the Borough with the public, special interest groups, and government agencies to ensure clear and open communication.
The officer manages activities that support the Mayor’s goals, including developing and sharing information, coordinating media relations, and engaging with the community. They also oversee specific projects, making sure they align with the objectives of the Mayor’s Office and contribute to keeping the community informed and connected.
