Mission To deliver conservative legal advice that anticipates and prevents potential legal challenges, minimizing litigation risks, and when necessary, to defend the Borough’s interests from a strong position that challenges liability.

The Law Department supports the Mayor’s Office, Assembly, Borough Boards and Commissions, and all Borough departments. Its comprehensive scope includes:
