General information
The IHLC Central Office is responsible for the overall administration, management and direction of the Department in accordance with the IHLC Commission’s vision and strategic plan. The Iñupiat Heritage Center and the Simon Paneak Memorial Museum are managed and operated through the IHLC Central Office. IHLC Central Office staff also serve as support to the work of the IHLC Commission as well as day-to-day administrative tasks and is often the first contact with the public and other departments.
IHLC Central Office processes Resource Request Forms, oversees the Traditional Room and assists in the facilities management of the Iñupiat Heritage Center and the Simon Peneak Memorial Museum.
