Services provided by Community Health Divisions are direct and population-based services to the North Slope communities.
These include the following divisions:
- Community Health Aide Program

- Provides outpatient and emergency medical care to community members where a hospital is not available via medical traffic with a provider.

- Public Health Nursing

- Provides immunizations
- Addresses current public health concerns

- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program

- Provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support and education, and healthy foods to eligible participants.

- Foster children younger than 5
- Pregnant women,
- New moms and babies
- Provides nutrition education, breastfeeding support and education, and healthy foods to eligible participants.

- Public Health Office/Veterinary Clinic

- Provides emergency and appointment-based medical care for domesticated animals
- Addresses rabies control for the North Slope

- Emergency Shelter and Case Management

- Provides temporary shelter and case management.
