Housing Development Division
Housing Development Division focuses on assisting residents for building new construction as well as ensuring residents have the information, they need to become knowledgeable in the process of building and purchasing homes within the NSB. Financial, Construction, Materials and Logistics options for all NSB communities are housed within the Development Division with a heightened focus on cutting cost to build and ensuring options are available for residents to pursue.
Financial & Credit Literacy: North Slope Homeownership & Financial Empowerment Workshop
Iḷisaġvik College, in partnership with the North Slope Borough Housing Department, will be offering the Financial & Credit Literacy: North Slope Homeownership & Financial Empowerment Workshop on May 27–29 from 1:00–4:00 PM, with a Zoom option available.
Please note that completed registration forms are required prior to participation. Once forms are received, the Zoom link and final class details will be shared directly with participants.
This 3-day workshop will cover key topics such as budgeting, credit, and steps to homeownership, and is open to North Slope residents, including first-time homebuyers and current homeowners.
