KaktovikWater.org Launches as Central Resource for Water Response Information
KAKTOVIK, Alaska—The Kaktovik Water Response Joint Information Center (JIC) has launched KaktovikWater.org to provide the community and stakeholders with the latest information on the Kaktovik water system response.
The website provides a central location for current health and safety information, water system updates, testing results, public notices, frequently asked questions, and other information related to the ongoing response.
Residents, community members, and stakeholders are encouraged to visit KaktovikWater.org for the latest available information. The site will be updated as new information becomes available.
The Kaktovik Water Response JIC includes the North Slope Borough, Ukpeaġvik Iñupiat Corporation, Alaska Department of Health, Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation, North Slope Borough School District, Arctic Slope Native Association, City of Kaktovik, Kaktovik Iñupiat Corporation, and Iñupiat Community of the Arctic Slope.
