General information
Maintenance personnel maintain SAR’s fleet of aircraft to the highest standard possible for reliable, safe, mission ready status in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR). NSB SAR maintenance personnel are responsible for 90% of in-house maintenance. The remainder is outsourced for inspections, overhauls, and STC installations that exceed department capabilities.
In addition to maintaining these highly complex aircraft, the maintenance division supports the building, grounds and the land-vehicle transportation needs for the department.
