The Department of Administration (DOA) ensures efficient internal operations within the North Slope Borough, delivering high-quality services to the public and other Borough departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Central: Oversees smooth communication and coordination within Borough divisions.
  • Risk Management: Protects Borough assets through self-insurance programs and safety initiatives.
  • Network Support Services (NSS): Supports networking, IT infrastructure, video teleconferencing, and business software.

  • Emergency Management: Prepares for and responds to civil emergencies, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Anchorage: Manages combined office space and related resources to support Borough operations.
